Bboy Conditioning

A very important part of bboying in my opinion is conditioning. There are 2 parts in conditioning in my opinion. The first part is physical conditioning - Stretching and Working out. Working out and stretching daily will keep your body physically ready for moves. The 2nd part is mental conditioning, this is also very important. Having the mentality that YOU want to keep getting better and accepting your mistakes is a main key to improving. Keeping yourself conditioned will make you improve.

Bboy Attire

To be honest there is no proper bboy attire. You can wear whatever you want as long as it's comfortable to you and makes you feel better. The same goes for shoes. There are shoes better for different criterias but for dancing you use whatever shoes you want. Some people use Pumas, Adidas, Nikes, or Vans because they're more of the "iconic" brands but if it's comfortable for them to dance in it, they'll keep dancing in it.

Bboys are normal people too

Dancers like Bboyers are normal people too. Don't forget that they are just like one of us and the only difference is that they have a passion for dancing. Here's a quick comical video I found. I particularly found this to be really funny.  Note: I do not own any copyrights at all.

BBoy Isaiah

Man this guy is one of the sickest and amazing bboys I've seen (I haven't seen that many yet lol). In my eyes I can clearly see his "style", his "uniqueness" that makes him stand out from other bboys. Well there are other bboys with the similar style as him but to me he stands out more! From Lions of Zion crew - BBoy Isaiah btw he's the asian guy.

Madcon - Beggin

This song is probably one of the most overused songs in the dance community. I am not trying to offend the song in any way, I am just simply stating that this popular song has been used a lot of times and it's obvious why. It's a very catchy songs with a nice hook and a nice beat. There are many other reasons why this song is used a lot but I'll leave the criticism of this song to you.

BBoy Al-One

BBoy Al-One from the All Stars Breakers and R & F crew is one of the those under dog in the bboying Scene. There are many underdogs in the bboying scene each with their own unique style that no one should ever underestimate and bboy Al-One is one of them. Has one of the best transitions and power moves I have seen ( I am only an amateur bboy, I'm sorry if I seem like an E-boy to you).

BBoy Morris

bboy Morris is also one of my favourite bboys. Always shows a lot of energy during his battles and most of the time winning them. With all the energy he puts in his rounds/sets, it makes him very entertaining to watch.

BBoy Taisuke

BBoy Taisuke has been my all time favorite BBoy. He has his own style and he does his own moves. For me his style just stands out more than others and it is really smooth. He's part of the Red Bull Bc ONE Allstars and several other crews.

Airflares

One of the most wanted moves in BBoying. Air flares are undeniably sexy (most of powers moves are all sexy) and some people create very creative variations like elbow airflares and others that are unnamed. Very hard move to do but just like every other powermove, with hard work and dedication this move can be achieved and mastered.

Nike Cortez

A popular Bboy shoe made by Nike. To behonest any shoe that's very comfortable for anybody to dance in can be classified as dancing shoes. Nike Cortez stylish, has a unique twist. Grabs yours now at any shoe store.

1990s & 2000s

Probably one of the most sexiest moves in dancing in my opinion. Learning this move requires hard work and dedication just like every other move. What I heard from other people the most impotant thing when learning this move is the "form". I'm not quite entirely sure of this. If you can do handstands and want to impress the ladies even more then try to learn these moves! 1990 is one handed while the 2000 is two handed.

Puma Suedes

Classic Puma Suedes are back in stores like FootLocker and Champs now. They've been here for awhile and are slowly becoming more popular. They feel heavy at first but after you wore them in it makes a huge difference. From heavy & clunky  to light and flexible. Retail price differs per store but expect it between $60 - $100.

Adidas Gazelle

Another very popular shoe in the dancing community. Also has a slick and simple design that makes it very beautiful. Easy on the eyes but hard on the dance floor.

Puma Archive Lite Low

Puma shoes are very popular in the dancing scene. Puma Suedes are the most popular dancing shoes you'll ever find but some might say Adidas Gazelles are but enough of that, this post isn't about the suedes. The Puma archive lite lows are new shoes released by Puma, it keeps the classic suede look but with different materials. The different materials used makes this shoe A LOT more lighter than the suedes. So if you want the classic suede look without the weight this is the shoe for you.

Another Side of Hip-Hop

Alot of people say that Hip-Hop is dead now but I beg to differ. In my opinion you just have to find these "hidden" artists that still create Hip-Hop the way we like it and not what the mainstream music industry claim it to be. One of these "hidden" artists that has gotten a lot of attention now and for quite some time is Nujabes. One of the best in my opinion and all I can say is to try it for yourself. Sadly Jun Seba or Nujabes, has passed away, rest in beats.

Freezes

Why just do a simple and boring camera pose when you can do amazing freeze poses! Makes the picture 100% more exciting and entertaining! There are several freezes, too many to name but here's 2 of my favourite freezes. The difficulty of freezes is from easy - hard depending on which freeze.

What's this sexy move you ask? Oh you know it's just... FLARES! This move is very popular in the Bboy community and is very sexy. With hard work and dedication maybe YOU can aswell do this move.

New Red Bull BC One Champion

A new bboy has been crowned at this year's Red Bull BC One 2012 national b-boy competition! The french Bboy Mounir, has been crowned as the new champion after the exhausting 5 round battle against Bboy Differ in the finals. Suprisingly Mounir won 5-0, a clean sweep against Differ. Many of us viewers will be expecting alot from Mounir as well as Differ now in the future as they proved to be national level bboys.
